Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance Benefits Relay for Life

RELAY LIFE 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (2/20/14) – Old National Bank will host its Third Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance, March 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. with all proceeds going to Relay for Life.

The event will be held at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center at 145 South Main in Greenville.  

According to Karen Smith, of Old National Bank, the event has grown every year.

"The original idea came from one of our other branches in Henderson, and it was such a success, we decided to have one here as well," Smith said.

Tickets can be purchased now at any Muhlenberg County Old National branch, including Greenville, Central City, Beechmont, and the Powderly branch.

"It just seems to grow and grown each year. We have such a great turn out, it's something that we just want to continue having," Smith said.

"It's one of those once in a lifetime events, where a father and daughter can have their pictures made, along with t-shirts, and if you prefer having professional photographs made, Studio III will be there as well."

Smith said the most fun part is there is no age limit.
 
"I believe that last year the youngest child there was 6 months old. That is a true memory to capture forever," Smith said. "We all have a wonderful time organizing it, and then watching all the fun."

Smith said there will be dancing, prizes, and something new this year, the VIP Princess Package.

"If you purchase your tickets by March 5, you'll have a chance to win the VIP Princess Package," Smith said. "That includes a limo ride to Philly's for dinner. The winners can also bring two other daughters and dads along. We will also have drawings for Disney on Ice tickets," Smith said.

Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door, $5 for each additional daughter.
 
"Daddy-Daughter Dance is a wonderful event for a wonderful cause, and Old National Bank is happy to sponsor it again this year, " Smith said.
