The 35-year-old man should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

According to the Madisonville Police Department, Ricky L. Miller escaped at approximately 9:50 p.m. Thursday, April 24 from the Hopkins County Detention Center. According to MPD, Miller has contacts in the Union Temple Road area of Hopkins County and has also had an address on Everly Brothers Boulevard in Central City.

Miller had been incarcerated for charges of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools, obscuring the identity of a machine, first-degree criminal mischief, receiving stolen property under $10,000 and on a warrant as a fugitive from another state.
