happeningsandmeetingsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (5/15/14) — Pennyrile Chapter of Kentucky Public Retirees will hold their fourth Thursday monthly meeting, 12 p.m., Thursday, May 22 at the Country Cupboard in Madisonville.

Country Cupboard is located at 581 McCoy Ave., Madisonville, Ky. phone number (270) 821-6652. The luncheon buffet for speakers is provided by the group, please come around 11:30 a.m.

The 12 p.m. program will be Rick McHale, of Humana, speaking on new Vitality program, insurance and answering questions. After the speaker, membership meeting will include election of officers. Membership is open to former county and state workers and Kentucky State Police employees who are part of CERS or KERS pension programs.

Pennyrile Chapter covers Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Christian, Todd, Caldwell, Crittenden, Livington, Lyon and Trigg Counties. First year after retirement is free and may be accessed online at www.kentuckypublicretirees.org. Annual membership dues are $15.00 after first year. Members are kept up to date on pension and retirement benefit issues and enjoy fellowship and interesting programs.
