Bombshell-1Carlee Knight owner of Bombshell.BREMEN, Ky. (5/30/14) — Bombshell Salon Spa and Boutique is clearly a shop that can fill most any beauty need.

Nestled right off the road on Kentucky 81 in Bremen, Carlee Knight's Bombshell Salon offers a full range of services for its clients.

Clients at the Bombshell Salon may come in for hair, nails, skin care, massage or even embroidering. The Bombshell proudly offers Dermalogica skin care products. Dermalogica is one of the leading skin care product lines in the United States, according to Knight.

The Bombshell's massage program offers not only regular massages but also massage therapist Whitney Brown is a certified labor coach specializing in prenatal massage. Brown is DOULA certified.

When asked why she opened Bombshell, Knight said, "There was only one salon in Bremen and it had no spa. I saw a community need, and since then we have developed a steady cliental."

Knight is very proud of her training as she attended the Regina Webb Academy in Bowling Green, which is known for the quality and expertise of its graduates.

In addition to being DOULA certified, Brown was trained at the Daymar College in Owensboro. Knight said a third member of her team, Keila Baize, specializes in monogramming and embroidery. Baize embroiders bags, shirts, baby items on several types of clothing.

Knight is very proud of the Bombshell Salon Spa and Boutique.

"I want to offer an in-home environment with a country feel," said Knight, whose store is in the former house, where she grew up.

Knight is not only proud of the services her spa offers but also of the products it sells.

The Bombshell sells Candleberry candles, Dermalogica skin care products, acrylic monogram jewelry, scarves, bags, professional hair products, nail polish, baby clothing that can be monogrammed and even pet clothing. Brown calls it the "One Stop Shop."
