sheriff logoHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/21/14) — The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office released the following reports Monday, July 21.

Zackarius M. Franklin, 20, Madisonville, was charged on a warrant July 9 for theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500.

John W. Allard, 33, Madisonville, was charged on a warrant July 11 for theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500.

Michael Houston, 28, La Center, Ky., was charged on a warrant July 12 for second-degree escape.

Joshua Barber, 28, Franklin, Tenn., was charged on warrants July 12 for second-degree escape and failure to pay fines.

Hunter Driver, 21, Dawson Springs, was charged July 12 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and resisting arrest.

William M. Lowder, 49, Manitou, was charged on a warrant July 13 for contempt of court.

Johnny E. Groves, 41, Lebanon, Tenn., was charged July 13 for failure to wear seat belts; no operator's license/moped license; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; on a warrant for contempt of court; and, on a warrant for probation violation.

Janet M. Gipson, 49, Portland, Ore., was charged July 17 for custodial interference.

Christopher Rakestraw, 37, Slaughters, was charged on a warrant July 17 for theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500.

David W. Pleasant, 52, Madisonville, was charged July 18 with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense.

Candice Sue Barber, 22, Madisonville, was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
