samGREENVILLE, Ky. (8/5/14) — Sam's Auto Mart in Greenville is a great place to find a used car.

Sam's Auto Mart is a buy-here-pay-here dealer with a wide selection of cars to choose from.

Sam Loy, the proprietor of Sam's Auto Mart, said he deals in a lot of trade ins and rebuilds cars that he buys. Loy is proud of his work and his entire family drives cars he has rebuilt.

"I do not sell a car here that I would not put my grandchildren in," said Loy. "We try to sell reasonably priced vehicles that a person can afford. "

Loy has been in the car business since 1992 after retiring from TVA.

“I started my business to help people buy a car,” he said. “Some people have bad records and have problems affording a car. I only look at people's records with me. I have rarely been disappointed with a sale, as my repossession rate is less than 10 percent."

Loy works with a lot of young people who have problems getting credit and with many older people, who have problems affording a car due to any number of reasons. Currently, Loy has 800 cars out on contract using his buy-here-pay-here payment plan. Loy asks customers to be able to pay 25 percent down on any car and be able to show proof of insurance. Loy's car prices range from $1,900 to $8,000 depending on the vehicle.

Sam's Auto Mart is located at 132 Raymer Massey Lane in Greenville. The phone number is (270) 543-9147.
