oboro alliance 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (9/4/14) — The annual Shifley-York Neighborhood Pride Day is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for Saturday, Sept. 13  at York Park.

The event will feature free inflatables, food and representatives from the Owensboro Police Department and Owensboro Fire Department.

Neighbors are invited to come to the park and learn more about the Shifley-York Neighborhood Alliance.

The alliance represents several neighborhoods including Thoroughbred Acres, Fieldcrest and the York Park area - between McFarland Avenue and Scherm Road and between Lewis Lane and the U.S. 60 Bypass and meets at Lewis Lane Baptist Church on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
