DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. DRIFTS UP TO A FOOT AND A HALF HAVE ALSO BEEN REPORTED. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION AND TRAVEL SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. (National Weather Service)

grapevine run 01MADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/22/13)- If you missed this past Saturday’s First Annual Grapevine Trail Run, you missed out on great free experience on a beautiful day.
 
With 30 participants, this Year’s winners for the Trail Run were Rowan Jones and Bonita Truitt. All prizes were donated for this event and the winner’s had the option of choosing what they wanted. The rest of the prizes were distributed out through a drawing of all participants. Roger Cunningham, Organizer of this event also did state that “We will be having a Mountain Bike time trail series starting in June and will run all through the summer months.” They are currently and always are looking for volunteers to help with keeping the trails clean and in great shape.
