WARREN COUNTY, KY (5/4/12) – On May 4, 2012, at approximately 8 AM, the Warren County Sheriff's Office hosted a mock fatal collision demonstration with initiatives from the Kentucky Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
The event was to express the importance of not texting while driving. The demonstration was presented to the junior and senior classes. Awareness was raised regarding the after effects of operating a motor vehicle while texting and driving and operating a vehicle under the influence. The timing for the event was paramount due to the upcoming students' prom.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office wishes to send out a special thanks to the following agencies that assisted in the demonstration:

–Medical Center Emergency Medical Services
–Air Evac - Air Ambulance
–Warren County Coroner's Office

–Parrish Auto Salvage (Donated 2 wrecked vehicles)

–Greenwood High School Administration
