Bowling Green Offers Text Messaging Service for Golf Courses

cell golfBOWLING GREEN, KY (11/23/12) – The City of Bowling Green Municipal Golf Courses are offering a text message service to provide golfers and the general public with specials, updates, news and more. The golf courses are providing the service as a means to get information out to regular and occasional golfers.
 
Citizens can text “Join Golf” to (270) 681-3828 to start receiving the texts.
 
Those who sign up for the text messaging service can bring their phone to Crosswinds or Paul Walker Golf Course on Black Friday to receive 10% off all gift card purchases that day and a 5% off coupon for a round of golf that is able to be used from November 23 2012 through June 30, 2013.
 
The City will offer similar text messaging services for additional topics in the coming weeks.
 
The City of Bowling Green will not sell or disclose any provided phone numbers of subscribers except as required by Kentucky law.
