BOWLING GREEN, KY (12/10/12) – Western Kentucky University won 21 awards in the 2012 CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Kentucky annual conference Dec. 6-7 in Louisville.
WKU won four Grand Awards for Hilltopper of the Century video in the Audiovisual Communication/Film and Videotape category; Arts & Letters, The Magazine of Potter College at WKU in the Magazine/Other Magazine category; WKU Homecoming in the Photo and Photo Essay Series category; and WKU Reach Week Ad Series in the Printed Publications/Paid Advertisement Series category.
WKU won 10 Awards of Excellence for The Campaign for WKU in the Specific Projects/Educational Fundraising Project category; WKU Information Booklet in the Printed Publications/Student Recruitment category; WKU Spirit in the Magazine/Alumni Magazine category; Instruments of American Excellence in the Specific Projects/Media Relations Project category; 15 Points of Progress Website in the WWW & Electronic Communications/Overall Website Design and Implementation category; The Campaign for WKU in the Total Programs/Total Educational Fundraising category; Jerry Greenfield Digital Signage in the Printed Publications/Low Budget Publication category; WKU NOVA Center Calendar in the Printed Publications/Institutional Publication category; WKU students leads effort to build school in Ghana in the News & Feature Writing/General News or Feature Story/Series category; WKU hosting Transit of Venus viewing party June 5 for once‐in‐a‐lifetime event in the News & Feature Writing/General News or Feature Story/Series category.
