Accident with Injury on Russellville Road

accident injuries amb 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (2/14/13) – On Thursday, February 14, at approximately 8:14 AM, Warren County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an injury collision at Russellville Rd and West McLellan.
 
Upon investigation, it was determined that Sakiba Delic was travelling eastbound on Russellville Rd when she started to feel light-headed. Delic stated that she attempted to contact her mother, and blacked out, causing her to rear-end a vehicle operated by Leroy Hale, who was pulling a utility trailer.
 
Hale and his passenger, James Lindsey, refused medical treatment. Delic was transported by EMS from the scene. Delic was not wearing a seatbelt. Both occupants in Hale’s vehicle were wearing seatbelts.
 
Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this collision.
 
Collision is still under investigation.
