BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (2/27/13) – At approximately 2:09 p.m. yesterday, the Kentucky State Police received a call to be in route to 1135 US 31 E Bypass to the parking lot of Michelle's Consignment. According to KSP Trooper Jonathan Biven, Brandon Bradshaw, 27 of Bowling Green, was shot by Deputy Thomas Brown from the Warren County Sheriff Department.

Reports surfaced yesterday that the shooter was still on the loose. According to Biven, that report was false. Biven said Brown was on the site when they arrived. Brown was placed on administrative leave by the department. Further information has not been disclosed yet.

“The incident that occurred yesterday is very unfortunate,” said Sherriff Jerry Gaines. “I am confident that the Kentucky State Police will discover all the facts surrounding the incident through their investigation. The results of their investigation will be turned over the Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for review.”

Bradshaw was originally taken to the Medical Center but was then taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition.
