Drug Arrest at Copper Run Drive

drug arrest marijuana 01 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (3/13/13) – On Monday, March 11th, 2013 at 8:04 PM, a Deputy with the Warren County Sheriff's Office was serving a civil paper at 1512 Copper Run Drive when he smelled the heavy odor of marijuana coming from the residence.
 
A search warrant was obtained for the residence from the Warren County Attorney's Office. The search yielded a large quantity of marijuana, a large quantity of cash, and 2006 Mercedes automobile.
 
The resident, Damon Nelson, was arrested and lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail. He was charged with Trafficking over Five Pounds of Marijuana, Tampering With Physical Evidence, and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
 
The Warren County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
