2013 SNAP Grant Applications Available Online

snap 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (4/15/13) – The City of Bowling Green Neighborhood Services Office has released guidelines and an application online for its Select Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP) grants. The deadline for this year's grant cycle is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1.

SNAP grants provide funding from the City of Bowling Green to neighborhood groups for projects. These projects include neighborhood beautification, neighborhood organizing, capital improvement projects, neighborhood-school partnerships and professional services. Neighborhood groups also contribute a match to these projects, which are selected, planned and implemented by neighbors themselves.

This is the fifteen grant cycle for the program, which has provided more than $650,000 in local funding to more than seventy neighborhood groups.
