warren co pub library2 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (5/1/13) – The Warren County Public Library will host an evening with Lis Wiehl and Steve Berry on Thursday, June 13 at 6:00 p.m. This special event will feature these two great legal minds and New York Times best-selling authors as they sit down and discuss their latest novels, books, writing, and more.

Lis Wiehl is one of the nation’s most prominent trial lawyers and highly regarded commentators. Currently, she is the legal analyst and reporter on the Fox News Channel and Bill O’Reilly’s sparring partner in the weekly “Is It Legal?” segment on The O’Reilly Factor. She is a Professor of Law at New York Law School. She has also written five best-selling books.

Prior to joining Fox News Channel in New York City, Lis served as a legal analyst and reporter for NBC News and NPR’s All Things Considered. Before that, she served as a Federal Prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s office. Lis earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and her Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland.

Steve Berry is the New York Times and #1 internationally best-selling author of The Columbus Affair, The Jefferson Key, The Emperor's Tomb, The Third Secret, The Romanov Prophecy, and many others. His books have been translated into 40 languages with more than 15 million printed copies in 51 countries. They consistently appear in the top echelon of The New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists.

History lies at the heart of every Steve Berry novel. His passion for history led him to create History Matters - a foundation dedicated to historic preservation. In 2012 Steve’s devotion to historic preservation was recognized by the American Library Association, which named Steve the first spokesman for National Preservation Week. Among his other honors is the Royden B. Davis Distinguished Author Award.

Steve was born and raised in Georgia, graduating from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He was a trial lawyer for 30 years and held elective office for 14 of those years.

Lis will discuss her new book A Matter of Trust. Steve will discuss his newest release The Kings Deception.
