Accident Injury 01 blue 300WARREN COUNTY (11/18/13) – An injury collision was reported on Nov. 16 by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office on 700 Block Hammett Hill Road.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 10:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle collision of a 16-year-old female driver of Bowling Green that was entrapped and had to be mechanically removed from the vehicle.

Passengers of the vehicle at the time of the collision were a 16-year -old male of Rockfield, a 16-year-old female of Bowling Green and 18-year-old Tyler Lightfoot of Bowling Green. All occupants were transported to the Medical Center for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

Through investigation, it was determined the vehicle went off the right shoulder of the road. The female driver overcorrected herself, causing it to cross the roadway and go off the left side of the road. The vehicle then rolled due to the extreme angle of the side of the hill. The 16-year-old male from Rockfield was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.

Alcohol and speeding have been ruled out of this collision.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hadley Volunteer Fire Department and Bowling Green Fire Department.

The investigation continues.
