Warren County DUI Arrest

DUI ARREST3 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (3/3/14) — The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to an intoxicated driver at around 8:55 p.m. March 1 at the 2100 block of Mt. Olivet Rd.

It was first reported that the vehicle was stuck in a yard and then blocking the roadway.

Upon arrival, the driver, Charleton Young, 43, of Bowling Green, attempted to strike the responding deputies vehicles, then fled the scene. The vehicle was stopped in the 800 block of Mt. Olivet Road where the driver refused to comply with Deputies commands and was later tazed.

Young was taken into custody without further incident.

Young was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on three counts of wanton endangerment first degree, driving under the influence second offense with aggravator, resisting arrest, and several minor traffic offenses.
