Big O’ Movers Continues to ‘Raise the Bar’

big-o-movers(Photo courtesy Jim DeMaio)OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/14/14) – A professional moving company that got its start in 2012 in Owensboro is planning expansion of services into Bowling Green this year, the founder of the company told a group of business and community leaders yesterday.

At a Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting held at the Chamber office, Barry Young with Big O’ Movers said the company started its operation with one truck in 2012 and bought its second truck last year.

The company also added a storage warehouse on U.S. Hwy. 431.

Young said the idea for the company stemmed from what he called “a need for a higher standard of moving.”

“We wanted to raise the bar on the expectation of moving,” Young said.

Big O’ Movers perform about two to three moves most days.
