Horseback Ride Planned April 5 at Green River Lake State Park

horsebackridingCAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (3/22/14) — Green River Lake State Park and the Friends of Green River Lake will host the “Outhouse Ride” for horseback riders April 5.

This trail ride starts 10 a.m. at the horse trail head on Robin Road.

The fee is $20 per person or $30 for a couple. The fees help pay for lunch for participants on the day of the ride, restrooms and trail maintenance throughout the year.

Door prizes will be awarded after the ride and meal.

Green River Lake State Park sits along an 8,200-acre lake and has a campground, marina, mini-golf, gift shop, picnic area, hiking trails and 22.5 miles of horseback riding trails. Green River Lake State Park is south of Campbellsville on KY 55.
