BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (6/3/14) — Warren County Sheriff's Office and Warren County Public Schools are hosting a safety training later this month for school principals and assistant principals.
During that time WCSO and WCPS will collaborate with other first responder agencies to train administrators on how to properly handle intruder/critical incident situations.
Administrators will be split into three groups where they will receive practical training for an intruder situation with topics to include making the emergency call and the Fast Path Hallway Navigation System.
Fast Path Hallway Navigation has been adopted by Warren County Sheriff's Office and Warren County Public Schools. The first school to implement the system and receive training was Bristow Elementary School in March, 2014. WCSO and WCPS intend to have several more schools complete the training prior to the start of the 2014/2015 year.
The upcoming training will allow all administrators and emergency services participants to keep student safety the number one priority by enhancing the partnership and advancing the level of preparedness by all agencies. We would like to formally invite you to attend the intruder/critical incident training June 9, 8:45 a.m.
