BOWLING GREEN, KY (1/12/12) – The Warren County Drug Task Force (WCDTF) teamed up with Kentucky State Police and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in apprehending a Franklin, KY resident for selling Crack Cocaine in Warren County.
According to WCDTF officials, there has been an ongoing investigation over the past month in the Bowling Green area. Detectives had deduced, through investigative procedures, that 27-year-old JeFraye Warfield of Franklin had been bringing Crack Cocaine into the Warren County area to sell.
During the investigation, Detectives made two controlled purchases of the drug from Warfield on separate occasions.
Warfield was arrested at 3:44 PM on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, following an undercover controlled purchase in the 2700 block of Scottsville Road.
WCDTF officials have stated that the investigation will be presented to the Warren County Grand Jury in the near future.
Warfield is currently lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
