Police Seek Public Assistance in Abused Dog Case

 

bg police car 300WARREN COUNTY, KY (1/20/12) – Warren County Sheriff's Office was notified on January 20,2012 at approximately 9:11 AM by a Scott Waste Management employee that he had found a dog in the 200 block of Melshed Ferry Road that appeared to be injured from being pulled by a chain.
 
Through further investigation by Animal Control Deputies, the dog had obvious signs of possibly being drug by a vehicle. The dog has suffered extensive damage to its head, sides, and chest. The dog has been taken to the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society for treatment.
 
Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact Warren County Sheriff's Office at 270-842-1633.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
