Search Warrant Executed at the Prince Hookah Lounge

 

drugarrest 300 cBOWLING GREEN, KY (1/24/12) – The Bowling Green - Warren County Drug Task Force with assistance from the Bowling Green Police and Warren County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant.
 
The search warrant was executed at the Prince Hookah Lounge, 116 Bookstore Way in Bowling Green near the campus of Western Kentucky University at 2:15 PM, January 23, 2012.  The warrant was the result of a purchase of a synthetic cannabinoid substance sold as “Diablo” last week.  This substance was sent to the Kentucky State Police Regional Lab in Louisville for testing.  
 
The results were returned today showing it to be a synthetic cannabinoid in violation of the recently passed Warren County Ordinance prohibiting both the sale and possession of such substances. A second purchase was made on Monday, Jan. 23, and a search warrant obtained working with County Attorney Amy Milliken.

Ayad Albuali of 402 Old Morgantown Road, Bowling Green, KY, Age 35
 
Both Cited to Warren District Court for Trafficking in a Synthetic Cannabinoid, Class A Misdemeanor.
 
Eighty-three packs of “Diablo” were seized with a retail value of $2,075.00. The above individuals are to appear in Warren District Court February 15, 2012.
