WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (7/10/13) - Long time Webster County educator Terry Starks has been named the interim principal of Sebree Elementary.
Sebree Principal Aaron Collins accepted the superintendant’s position with Fulton County Schools, leaving the Sebree School without a principal as the district moves into the new school year.
“District administration felt that there was not enough time for the Site Based Decision Making Council to be trained for the hiring of a new principal, the position to be posted and to complete the interview process by August 1,” said Superintendant James Kemp. “We collectively felt that appointing an interim principal for the 2013-2014 school year would be in the best interest of the students and staff.”
Starks just finished his 13th year in the district, where Kemp says he has established himself as a “quality leader” and is known for being “dedicated and devoted to the students of Webster County”.
Starks started his position on July 1, 2013.
