HC IndictmentsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (6/9/14) — A Hopkins County Grand Jury recently handed down the following indictments.

Shawn Amar, Madisonville, was indicted for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines; and, possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Bean, St. Charles, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; and, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tyler Brown, Madisonville, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking of property or cash valued at $10,000 or more; and, receiving stolen property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000.

Douglas Browning, Nortonville, was indicted for criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree when with knowledge that it is forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another; and, first-degree persistent felony offender.

Gwendolyn Browning, Nortonville, was indicted for criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree when with knowledge that it is forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another.

Jamie Davis, Madisonville, was indicted for unlawful imprisonment in the first degree when he knowingly and unlawfully restrained another person under circumstances which exposed that person to risk of serious physical injury; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; menacing when he intentionally placed another person in reasonable apprehension of imminent physical injury; disorderly conduct in the second degree; third-degree assault when he caused or attempted to cause physical injury to a law enforcement officer or detention officer; resisting arrest; and, first-degree persistent felony offender.

Stevie Drayer, Madisonville, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

Jamie Hale, Manitou, was indicted for third-degree assault.

Kayla Mitchell, Stamping Ground, Ky., was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; and, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Virginia Payne, Nortonville, was indicted for tampering with physical evidence; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; possession of a controlled substance, Clonazepam; and, being a felon in possession of a firearm.

David Pleasant, Nortonville, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; manufacturing methamphetamines; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, Morphine; possession of a controlled substance in an improper container; possession of marijuana; and, trafficking in the first degree in a controlled substance, meth.

Darren Scott, Madisonville, was indicted for second-degree possession in a controlled substance, Loratab; first0degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; and, second-degree persistent felony offender.

Kristen Snyder, Earlington, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines; possession of drug paraphernalia; and giving a peace officer a false name or address.

Patty Tucker, Clay, was indicted for operating a motor vehicle while license was revoked or suspended; following a vehicle too closely; operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration plate; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, first offense; possession of a drug paraphernalia; operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator's license in possession; operating a motor vehicle without wearing a seat belt; and, careless driving.

Timmy Warner, Powderly, was indicted for second-degree escape; and, first-degree persistent felony offender.

More indictments from the recent Grand Jury will be published later this week.
