Hopkins County Indictments

HC IndictmentsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky.  (7/4/14) — The Hopkins County Grand Jury recently handed down the following indictments:

Michael Adamson, Dawson Springs, fourth-degree assault, third offense or more within five years, when he knowingly and intentionally caused physical injury to Jada Egbert.

Shawn Amar, Madisonville, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth, less than two grams; and, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Norman Barassi, Madisonville, murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Candace Barber, Madisonville, attempted theft by extortion of property valued at more than $10,000, when she attempted to obtain property of another; and, theft by unlawful taking of property or cash valued at more than $10,000.

Nevin Bard, Madisonville, five counts of use of a minor in a sexual performance by producing, directing or promoting a minor less than 18 years of age in a sexual performance; and, five counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor when he knowingly distributed obscene material to a minor.

Craig Davenport, Greenville, intimidating a witness in a legal process and first-degree persistent felony offender.

William Davis, Jr., Dawson Springs, theft by unlawful taking of property or cash valued at more than $10,000/a trailer.

Treston Fambrough, Dawson Springs, manufacturing methamphetamine.

Steven Ford, North Middletown, Ky., first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth; and, tampering with physical evidence.

Steven Gary, Dawson Springs, second-degree hindering apprehension, when he rendered assistance to Jonathan Ruby in escaping arrest; possession of drug paraphernalia; trafficking in synthetic cannabinoid; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth; receiving stolen property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000/appliances; and, second-degree persistent felony offender.

Christopher Hallum, Madisonville, manufacturing methamphetamine.

Jessica Hanns, Dawson Springs, manufacturing methamphetamine.

Brian Hunt, White Plains, first-degree unlawful imprisonment; first-degree wanton endangerment; fourth-degree assault; and, second-degree persistent felony offender.

Kenneth Jackson, Dawson Springs, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment; and intimidating a witness in a legal proceeding.

Johnney McKinney, Dawson Springs, manufacturing methamphetamine.

Sierra McKinney, Dawson Springs, manufacturing methamphetamine.

Zachary McPeak, Nebo, murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Kevin Morris, Madisonville, manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence; and, possession of marijuana.

Virginia Payne, Madisonville, trafficking in a controlled substance/meth and second-degree persistent felony offender.

Triston Pettus, Madisonville, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth and second-degree persistent felony offender.

Robert Rhye, Madisonville, receiving stolen property; 11 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and first-degree persistent felony offender.

Jason Schomer, Madisonville, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence; and, second-degree endangerment of a minor by controlled substance.

Robert Wells, failure to comply with the sex offender registration law by failure to notify the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office and the Office of Probation and parol of change in address; first-degree fleeing police in a motor vehicle; third-degree assault involving a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest; alcohol intoxication in a public place; and, first-degree persistent felony offender.

Timothy White, first-degree assault by stabbing James E. Shirk; tampering with physical evidence; and, second-degree persistent felony offender.
