GOLDEN POND, KY (11/17/12) – Small game hunting seasons open at Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area beginning December 1, 2012. Small game hunting offers great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during winter months.
All hunters (age 16 and older) must have an LBL Hunter Use Permit, an appropriate state license, and observe LBL rules and applicable state laws regarding hunting zones and safety precautions.
Details concerning dates of the hunting seasons, bag limits, and other hunting information can be found in the LBL Small Game & Waterfowl Hunting Information sheet available at the Golden Pond Visitor Center (year-round), North & South Welcome Stations (open Weds-Sun during Nov. and closed for the season beginning Dec. 1), by calling 800-LBL-7077 or 270-924-2000, or on the Internet at www.lbl.org, click on See & Do, then Hunting.
