HENDERSON, Ky. (3/20/13) – Henderson Police reported the following activity:
Brandon Williams, Eldorado, Ill., was located on March 15 on S. McKinley St., and authorities determined he was wanted on an Illinois warrant. Williams was entered into NCIC on charges of escape and lodged at the Henderson County Jail.
On March 15, a Henderson woman reported to police that someone stole more than $500 in cash from her room sometime between Thursday, March 14, and Friday, March 15. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295 or Henderson Crime Stoppers at 270-831-1111.
Henderson Police cited a Uniontown man on charges of Assault to a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, DUI, Fleeing or Evading Police on Foot, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident following a traffic accident on Sunday, March 17, at 12:15 a.m. Authorities said while officers were conducting an investigation of the accident, James Cook, 36, allegedly assaulted Officer Treg Brooks and then fled on foot. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Cook was taken to Methodist Hospital and admitted on an unrelated issue, authorities said. The accident occurred in a public parking lot adjacent to U.S. Hwy. 41 in Henderson.
On March 17 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Henderson Police officers responded to report of an automobile accident with injuries on the U.S. Hwy. 60 East ramp toward U.S. Hwy. 41 North. According to Henderson Police, Lidia Shade, 23, Henderson, apparently ran off the road and struck a light pole. A passenger in her vehicle, Daniel Shade, 30, Henderson, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
