HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (8/7/13) – Hopkins County Schools’ Food Services Department is now using Infinite Campus as its point-of-sale vendor.
Parents will be able to track cafeteria transactions and balances through their Infinite Campus Parent Portal account and the mobile app. Sign in, and go to the Food Service tab.
The online Mealpay Plus system no longer works. The balances that remained at the end of last school year have been transferred to the student’s Infinite Campus account. Parents who have questions about their children’s balances may call the Food Services Department at the Central Office, 825-6000.
Online payments through IC will be allowed starting in early September.
Until online payments are allowed, parents have several options on paying for meals. Payments for a single child can be processed at the school. Families that want to submit one check for multiple students are advised to drop off the check at the Central Office, 320 S. Seminary St., Madisonville. If they’re unable to do that, they should send a check to one of the schools with a note, and then call the Central Office to have the funds transferred to their other children.
Parents who do not have Parent Portal accounts are urged to sign up. In addition to Food Service information, they can also access grades, schedule, attendance records and more. Paperwork is available online at the Hopkins County Schools’ website, www.hopkins.kyschools.us. Under the Parents drop-down menu, go to Parent Portal. Completed paperwork should be submitted to Kaylie Adcock at the Central Office.
