fight like fosterMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (8/30/13) – If there's one thing you can say for sure about 12-year-old Tyler Foster, he is a fighter.

Currently he is in a battle with cancer. However, the citizens of Muhlenberg County are making sure he does not face this fight alone.

There have been several benefits for this brave young man over the past few months, but treatment costs continue to mount.

So, to continue to help Tyler and his family, a benefit softball tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th at the Dunmor Softball Field, located on Joseph Lane just off Highway 431 in southern Muhlenberg County.

Organizers have emphasized that Muhlenberg County citizens should feel free to share and invite people. Teams, sponsors and donations are greatly needed.

To find out how you can help, or to organize a team contact Karen Galyen at 270-977-2935 or Megan Kirby at 270-543-7953. Organizers are hoping to have 20 to 25 teams.

Help knock cancer out of the park and support Tyler Foster and his family.
