HENDERSON, Ky. - Emma Elizabeth Foss, 94 of Henderson, KY passed away at Redbanks Nursing Home 2:45 AM Sunday, March 3, 2013.

She was born February 6, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York to William and Sarah (Chandler) Holst. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell Foss (1989), son Daniel Foss (1969) and five siblings.

She is survived by one son: David Foss of Philadelphia, PA; One grandson: Kevin Foss and his wife Laura of Redmond, OR; One granddaughter: Kristin Gardner and husband Brian of Henderson; Four great grandchildren: Abigail Gardner of Henderson, KY, Daniel Gardner of Henderson, KY, Sierra Foss of Redmond, OR, McKenzie Foss of Redmond, OR.

Memorial service and burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Henderson County Humane Society.

The family wishes to acknowledge their deep appreciation to the staff of Redbanks Nursing Home for their dedicated and loving care shown to Emma during her stay. May you always remember her smile.
