WESTERN Ky. (7/29/13) – The mild temperatures that Western Kentucky has experienced over the past week, unusual for this time of year, look to be continuing throughout this week.
Today, Monday, we will be seeing temperatures hovering around 81 degrees, partly sunny, with a very mild breeze occasional. Tonight will bring a cloud front into the region, providing a warning for some slightly more intense weather.
Tuesday will have temps around 81 degrees as well, with a 50 percent chance of showers throughout the day. On Tuesday night we will see the rain intensify to thunderstorms, a sixty percent chance, with a low of 68 degrees.
The storms could possibly carry over into Wednesday, with a high of 84 degrees and a 50% chance of storms, and Wednesday night with a low of 68 degrees and a 40 percent chance of storms.
On Thursday, we will see the storms gradually dissipate, with only a 20 percent chance, and temperatures jumping up to 86 degrees. On Thursday night the clouds will begin to dissipate with a low of 66 degrees.
Friday will be a great start to the weekend with mostly sunny conditions and a high of 87 degrees. Friday night we will see some more clouds moving into the region with a very slight chance of thunderstorms and a low around 70 degrees.
