murray calloway hosp1MURRAY, Ky. (3/25/14) – Murray-Calloway County will host a free community seminar 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 28 for individuals who are uninsured and still need to sign up for the Kentucky Healthcare Exchange Program.

The seminar will be held in the Private Dining Rooms of Murray-Calloway County Hospital. The PDRs are located on the first floor of the North Tower next to the Cafeteria.

The Kynect marketplace offers you several healthcare coverage options.

It also allows individuals to compare and select insurance plans and find out what programs like Medicaid or the Kentucky Children’s Health Insurance Program they may qualify for.

Jerry Penner, CEO of Murray-Calloway County Hospital, will present information on the importance of enrolling into the healthcare exchange and how it affects MCCH as a community not for profit hospital.

Open enrollment for healthcare coverage ends March 31, 2014.
