school counts 300MADISONVILLE, KY (10/21/13) - Madisonville Community College hosted the annual School Counts! reward breakfast on October 18th for the Dawson Spring High School program participants. Attendees successfully completed the School Counts! criteria during the 2012-2013 school year and received work ethic certificates.
 
To earn the work ethic certificate, a student must meet the following program criteria each year:
•Obtain a minimum 2.50 GPA yearly
•Achieve a minimum 95% attendance and punctuality record (includes all excused/unexcused absences and tardies with the exception of school-related activities)
•Complete high school in four consecutive years
•Take more than the minimum number of credits required for graduation
 
Students earning 4 work ethics certificates are eligible for a tuition scholarship for up to 12 credit hours each semester for 4 semesters upon enrollment at Madisonville Community College. Funds are applied after KEES, financial aid, and other scholarships have been awarded.

class 2015Class of 2015 - Steven Bearden, Ryne Bruch, Hannah Childers, Tiffany Fox, Brandon Hayes, Alex Mathis, Callie Menser, CJ Merideth, Caitlynn Moore, Christina Norris, Seth Parker, Austin Pool, Alyssa Pugh, Leah Smiley, and Patricia Tabor.
