comedyMADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/23/14) — To keep a relationship fresh and exciting, no matter how long you have been together, a couple needs alone time; away from unread emails, destructive kids and the everyday headaches of life.

Comedian Kenn Kington will host the "The Ultimate Date Night," Saturday, April 26, to see how well you know your spouse.

Date Night is one of Kington’s favorite events; he invented it for couples to have fun hearing the details and struggles he goes through with his wife of 18 years, Heather, while also giving helpful advice to the audience.

Every couple will also play the “Newlywed Game” together creating the most "fun night since the honeymoon," according to Kington.

“While you’re laughing a little, you learn a little,” Kington told SurfKY.

Kington is a regular on both Blue Collar Radio and Laugh USA, and has also been featured on Comedy Central. He has been in comedy full-time for 26 years, has traveled to 47 states, and spoke in front of as many as 60,000 people.

This weekend, though, Kington will customize the event for Madisonville residents as he travels to Christian Assembly Church.

“It’s my job for you to have one of the best nights of the year,” said Kington.

“Ultimate Date Night” begins 7 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at Christian Assembly Church, located at 1903 Edgewood Drive.
