MURRAY, Ky. - Harold Palmer, 85, of Murray passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Born July 21, 1927 in Illinois, Mr. Palmer was a World War II veteran where he served in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Palmer of Kirksey; a son Scott Harold Palmer, wife Lois of Libertyville, IL; two daughters, Cheryl Mayo, husband Tony of Kirksey, Kelley Fischer, husband Matt, of Mesa, AZ; a brother, Chuck Palmer, wife Lorene; five grandchildren Brandon Fischer, Brody Fischer both of Mesa AZ, Anthony Mayo of Kirksey, Michael Stanger, wife Tiffany of Murray and Ryan Stanger wife Sarah of Murray; three great grandchildren, Elijah, Logan and Lincoln Stanger all of Murray and two special friends Ken and Dorothy Cosenzo of Elk Village, IL.
Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Charlotte DeYoung Palmer.
