MURRAY, Ky. - Pat H. Walker, age 73, slipped away at his home and soared to heaven to be with Jesus and to be reunited with his Mom and Dad on February 3, 2013.
Pat was born in Caney Creek, TN, a TVA village in the Great Smokey Mountains on March 17, 1939. Pat was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to deer and turkey hunt and crappie fish with his faithful companion Maxx. He attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Those left to mourn Pat include: his loving wife Brenda Walker of Murray; two daughters: Ann Cox and husband Ricky of Murray and Julie Sheffer and husband Chris of Paducah; two step-children: Tonya McFadden and husband Tom of Lexington and Chris Darnell and wife Angela of Murray; one brother: Charles Walker and wife Nelli of Wilmington, NC; two sisters: Sue Lawson of Sevierville, TN and Margaret Hester and wife Jim of Pasadena, MD; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his fishing companion Maxx.
Pat is preceded in death by his step-daughter: Regina Stockwell and his parents: Charles and Pearl Walker.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Imes – Miller Funeral Home with Bro. Rob Ison officiating. Burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors starting at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Imes – Miller Funeral Home.
