CALDWELL COUNTY, Ky. - Wilbur Lawrence Kissinger, age 87, of Caldwell County passed away Wednesday, February 6 at 5:51 p.m. at his home. He was a retired structural iron worker, had worked as a iron worker for 41 years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a WWII veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Hasse Kissinger, one son, Larry Kissinger, Caldwell County, KY, two daughters, Jacqueline Rucker and husband, Fred, Caldwell County, KY and Glennda Highsmith and husband, David, Zachary, LA, four brothers, Clifford Kissinger, Springfield, OH, Lloyd Kissinger, Chesterton, IN, Daniel Kissinger and Karl Kissinger, Valparaiso, IN, two sisters, Marjorie Underwood, Valparaiso, IN and Janey Cernek, Warren, WI, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Glenn and Cynthia Jane Anderson Kissinger, brother, James Kissinger and sister, Irene Weimer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday at Morgan's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Morgan's with Rev. John Benton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
