Alice Gayle Jones, age 75 of Cadiz formerly of Madisonville

 

alice jonesMADISONVILLE KY - Alice Gayle Jones, 75, of Cadiz, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

She was born April 9, 1936 in Nortonville, KY to the late Henry McCracken and Minnie Laura Brothers McCracken.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Ponderosa Baptist Church. She retired from J. Craig Riddle Insurance in 1998 after 44 years. She was also a member of Campers on Mission for the last twelve years.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Jones of Cadiz; four daughters, Connie (Allen) Wilkerson of Madisonville; Donna Faulk of Cadiz; Lynn (Daniel) Crews of Henderson and Ronda (Mark) Jones of Palatine, IL; three sons, Michael (Karen) Faulk of Anton, KY; Daryl (Pam) Jones of Sacramento, CA and Kevin (Karin) Jones of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Basil McCracken of Madisonville; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Cotton and Bro. Franklin Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dan Wilkerson, Nathan Crews, Matthew Crews, Chris Faulk, Allen Wilkerson, and Daniel Crews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ponderosa Baptist Church for Missions; envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
