Kathy DeCoursey, age 57, of Cadiz, KY

 

CADIZ, KY - Kathy DeCoursey, age 57, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Mrs. DeCoursey was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Realty in Cadiz, KY, had worked at the Cadiz Post office and was the first E-911 coordinator for Trigg County. She was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church and had served as a counselor for Celebrate Recovery.

She is survived by: Husband - Steve DeCoursey, Cadiz, KY, Father - Charles H. "Chip" Strohl, Sr., Hopkinsville, KY, Two Sons & Daughters-In-Law- Ben & Casey Powell, Bowling Green, KY, Glenn & Maelynne Powell, Owensboro, KY, One Step Son and Wife- Derek & Melissa DeCoursey, Hopkinsville, KY, Four Grandchildren- Gabriel DeCoursey, Jayden Powell, Blake Powell & Gavin DeCoursey, One Brother - Chip Strohl, Jr., Hopkinsville, KY & One Sister & Brother-In-Law - Debbie & Steve Reagan, Hopkinsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by: Mother - Mary Lee Strohl. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 with the Reverend Monty Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY.
