HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Christopher Lee (Chris) McCord, 36, of Crofton passed away at 9:20 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 in Hopkinsville, KY.

A native of Crofton, KY he was born August 15, 1975 the son of Elzie Skimehorn of White Plains, KY and Gail McCord Clark of Crofton, KY. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, KY.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his son: Ely Aiden McCord of Slaughters, KY; a daughter: Sydney Allison McCord of Slaughters, KY; and a sister: Ashley Nicole McCord Clark of Crofton, KY.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton, KY with Rev. William Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
