Carolyn T. Thomas, 91 of Columbus, Georgia and formerly of Christian County, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Carolyn T. Thomas, 91 of Columbus, Georgia and formerly of Christian County, KY passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Covenant Woods Assisted Living Community of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, KY she was born March 22, 1921 the daughter of the late Ellis Wade Thomas and Amanda Robertson Thomas. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bennettstown, KY until it closed at which time she became a member of Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Boyd Thomas, who passed away in 1984.

Survivors include her sons: William Conrad Thomas of Clarksville, TN and Franklin Boyd Thomas (Linda) of Erwin, TN; her daughter: Gina Thomas Sheeks (Charles) of Columbus, GA; her brother: Ray Thomas (Margaret) of Hopkinsville, KY; grandchildren: Meagan Thomas Askew (Tyler), William Blake Thomas, Lauren LeClaire Thomas, Lauren Elizabeth Sheeks; and one great grandson: Bryce Tyler Askew.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY with Rev. Steve Guarneros officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
