Jerry Allen Abbott, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Jerry Allen Abbott, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY formerly of Henderson, KY, passed away at 8:00 AM, Wednesday, July 4, 2012, , at St. Thomas Hospital Nashville, TN.

Mr. Abbott was preceded in death by his parents Evan C. and Dorothy Margret Abbott, two sisters Dolly Hope and Edith Wilson.

He was employed by Rexam formally Sunbeam Plastics in Evansville, IN.

Survivors include: Wife 53 years: Bettye Gene Wilson Abbott Hopkinsville, KY; 1 Daughter: Donna Abbott Burton and husband Barry Henderson, KY; 1 Son: Jeffery Abbott and wife Tammy Geneva, KY, 4 Grandchildren: Christan, Jenna, Dylan, and Lyndsey; 2 Great Grandchildren: Lexie & Jarrick; Brothers: Tommy Abbott Castle Rock, CO, Bev Abbott Robards, KY; 1 Sister: Sue Howell Henderson, KY; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 9, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Reverend Ted Burke will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and from 11:00 AM until service time on Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.

Pallbearers will be: Tommy Abbott, Bev Abbott, David Abbott, Billy Abbott, Don Wilson, Mike Wilson, David Stone, & Frank Woodall
