He was born September 26, 1919 the son of the late George Walden Crenshaw and Lucy White Crenshaw He grew up in Hopkinsville and later moved to Todd County, KY. He attended schools in Hopkinsville and also attended Transylvania University. He was a WWII veteran. He was a business man and his connections included Model Pure Milk Company and other business ventures.
He was preceded in death by a son, William White Crenshaw II.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis Fuller Crenshaw; his daughters, Virginia Crenshaw Tanner (Bobo) and Mary Crenshaw Spalding (Michael) both of Nashville, TN; his son, John Baker Crenshaw (Julia) of Hopkinsville, KY; and his grandchildren, William Benjamin Crenshaw and Helen Grace Crenshaw both of Hopkinsville, KY and Simpson Bobo Tanner V and Kathryn Crenshaw Tanner both of Nashville, TN.
Private services will be held on the farm in Todd County, KY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Pennyroyal Hospice.
