Eula Marie Adams-Schamber, age 92 of Athens, Georgia and formerly of Todd County

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Eula Marie Adams-Schamber, age 92 of Athens, Georgia and formerly of Todd County passed away Saturday November 24, 2012 at Heritage Health Care in Athens, GA.

Mrs. Eula was born in Todd County November 25, 1919 the daughter of the late Houston and Bessie Laster McGehee. She was a retired housekeeper for the University of Illinois. She is preceded in death by her first husband James Romeo Adams and her second husband Adam Schamber, also preceding her in death is one daughter Vonda Adams Wolf, two brothers William McGehee and Junior McGehee. Mrs. Eula was a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by one son Mark Adams of Kenosha, WI, two daughters Rachel Adams McGarty of Glendale, AZ, Mary Adams Hamman of Athens, GA. Two brothers Dorris and Morris McGehee both of Clifty, KY, two sisters Audrey McGehee Raulston of Plano, TX and Eleanor McGehee of Loxley, AL. 10 Grandchildren Kevin Hamman, Kristina Wallace, Kristin Adams, Ben Adams, Brandon Adams, Tammy McGarty, Noreen McGarty, Troy Eads, Dereck Eads, Randy Eads.

Services will be Wednesday November 28, 2012 10:00 a.m. at Trinity General Baptist Church Clifty, KY with Rev. Donald McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in the Slaughters Cemetery in Clifty, KY. Visitation will be at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY on Tuesday November 27, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at Trinity General Baptist Church after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m.
