Retta Mae Barnett Naylor, 90, of Crofton

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Retta Mae Barnett Naylor, 90, of Crofton passed away at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, KY she was born July 13, 1922 the daughter of the late Joseph and Lelia Barnett. She worked at the A&P Grocery in Hopkinsville and also operated a grocery store in Crofton for several years. She was of the Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Gloria J. Crick ; her grandson: Gary Lynn Dickinson; her brothers: Jewell Barnett, Otis Barnett, and Glenn Barnett; and her sister: Virginia Pollard.

Survivors include: her son: Rev. Clyde R. Sharber (Pam) of Oneonta, AL; her sister: Sue McGraw of Crofton, KY; two great grandchildren: Paige Johnson and Amanda Uchiyama; and three great great grandchildren: Addie Jo, Jaxon, and Kailyn.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton with her son the Rev. Clyde R. Sharber officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton. Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
