Edith Yoder Miller, 72, of Crofton, KY

CROFTON, Ky. - Edith Yoder Miller, 72, of Crofton, KY passed away at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY following a long illness.

A native of Centreville, MI born July 5, 1940, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Yoder and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Crofton Amish Church (East). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Miriam Faye Miller and two sons; Norman Ray Miller and Melvin Miller.

Survivors include her husband, Harlan Ray Miller, four daughters; Mary Jane Miller, Belle Center, OH, Marilyn (Myron) Yoder, Crofton, Martha (Owen Ray) Yoder, Fredonia, KY and Melva Miller, Crofton, three brothers; Joe Yoder, Dennis Yoder and Melvin Yoder, all of Centreville, MI, four sisters; Bessie (Samuel) Bontrager, Nappanee, IN, Susan (Truman) Bontrager, Edna (Adlai) Schrock and Miriam (Leroy) Hochstetler all of Centreville, MI and eight grandchildren; Melissa, Aaron, Marlene, Kevin, Andy, Margaret, Jeremy and Caleb.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Crofton Amish Church (East) conducted by Bishop Melvin Kauffman with burial to follow in the Crofton Amish – East District Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Galen Ropp, James Graber, Howard Yoder, Leland Yoder, Gerald Miller and David Mast. Visitation will be from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday.
