Mildred D. (Farris) Mitchell, age 79, of Gracey, KY

CADIZ, Ky. - Mildred D. (Farris) Mitchell, age 79, of Gracey, KY, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.

She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Jennie Stuart Medical Center where she was a cashier.

She is survived by her Husband of 63 years Henry Mitchell, Gracey, KY, Two Sons & Daughters In Law Dale & Carol Mitchell, Mulberry, FL, Gary & Tonya Mitchell, Charlotte, NC, Daughter & Son In Law Karla & Tim Edmonson, Gracey, KY, Sister Edna Taylor, Hopkinsville, KY, Grandchildren Kimberly Mitchell, Kevin Mitchell, Kaycee Redd, Nicholas Mitchell, Megan Redd Marsh, Andrew Mitchell, Suzanne Mitchell, Great Grandchildren Brady Mitchell, Cayden Mitchell, Kane Marsh, Step Grandchildren Jason Sitman, Jennifer Crapse, Step Great Grandchildren Landon Smith & Harper Sitman.

She was preceded in death by her Parents John Otha & Leona Belle Green Chewning, Brothers Wallace Chewning, Charles Chewning & Kenneth Chewning.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Locust Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at Locust Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with the Reverend John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Locust Grove Baptist Church Building Fund 73 Locust Grove Church Road, Cadiz, KY 42211.
