HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Mark (Poochie) Hurt, age 54 of Russellville, Ky. and formerly of Elkton passed away at 8:01 P.M. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky. of natural causes.

Mark Hurt was born in Christian County on July 16, 1958 the son of the late Arlo Hurt and Johnnie Sue Shumate Duncan of Russellville, Ky. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 29 in Russellville, Ky.

Mark is survived by his mother, Johnnie Sue Duncan of Russellville, Ky. and one brother, Todd Hurt of Hopkinsville, Ky. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kim Hurt in 1994.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with the Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating and burial will follow in the Todd County Meadow Haven. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, Ky.
